Sister taxon: Dyskritodon amazighi
Type specimen: VPL/JU/KM/13, a tooth (a left lower molar). Its type locality is Paikasigudem village, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian terrestrial siltstone/sandstone in the Kota Formation of India.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Paikasigudem village
