Type specimen: CNC-CAS 968, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (CNC June 1974 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (CNC June 1974 collection)
