Type specimen: TMP 91.148.790, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (TMP 91.148 accession), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (TMP 91.148 accession)
