Type specimen: Coll Inst. Geol. Lyon A 33a, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Aix-en-Provence (Inst. Geol. Lyon), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - large limestone in the Niveau du gypse d'Aix Formation of France.

Distribution: found only at Aix-en-Provence (Inst. Geol. Lyon)
