Type specimen: Inst. Geol. Strasbourg AS 15, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Aix-en-Provence (Inst. Geol. Strasbourg), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - large limestone in the Niveau du gypse d'Aix Formation of France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Aix-en-Provence (Inst. Geol. Strasbourg)
