Type specimen: MNCNI-21642, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is La Rinconada, Ribesalbes (MNCNI collection), which is in a Miocene lacustrine - large shale in Spain.

Distribution: found only at La Rinconada, Ribesalbes (MNCNI collection)
