Type specimen: GLAHM 132588, a partial skeleton (partial adult skeleton, including fragmentary skull roof, mandible, axial skeleton and scapular girdle). Its type locality is Bed D2D, Speeton, which is in a Hauterivian offshore claystone in the Speeton Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
