Sister taxa: Alysia exigua, Alysia latifrons, Alysia meunieri, Alysia petrina, Alysia phanerognatha

Type specimen: UCM 4903, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Florissant (Rusk, Duce 1909 coll), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Florissant (Rusk, Duce 1909 coll)
