Type specimen: CAMSM J.58307, a forewing. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Soft Cockle Beds, Swanage (Sedgwick Museum collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
