Sister taxon: Gulou oudardi

Type specimen: CNU-NX1-143, an exoskeleton (wings, thorax, head but missing abdomen). Its type locality is Xiaheyan, Zhongwei County (CNU coll), which is in a Westphalian B/Westphalian C interdistributary bay siliciclastic in the Yanghugou Formation of China.

Ecology: volant detritivore-omnivore

Distribution:

• Carboniferous of China (4 collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
