Sister taxon: Argentinocicada minima

Type specimen: PZ-CTES 5729, a tegmen. Its type locality is 300 m W of Quebrada del Durazno, which is in a Carnian lacustrine delta plain shale in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at 300 m W of Quebrada del Durazno
