Type specimen: CAS 420, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (CNC May 1973 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (CNC May 1973 collection)
