Type specimen: MNHN.F.R51027, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll)
