Sister taxa: Eucalyptocrinites archaios, Eucalyptocrinites rosaceus
Type specimen: M.U.G.D. 3404, a calyx. Its type locality is Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek, which is in a Siegen carbonate limestone in the Toongabble Limestone Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek
