Type specimen: NHML It 28447, a wing (well preserved wing). Its type locality is Brooki bed, Monmouth Beach, Lyme Regis, which is in a Turneri marine horizon in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Brooki bed, Monmouth Beach, Lyme Regis
