Type specimen: CMCIP-51223 (Theca). Its type locality is Drowning Creek Area, which is in a Givetian carbonate grainstone/packstone in the Boyle Formation of Kentucky.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Drowning Creek Area
