- Platychela trauthi: Its type locality is Polzberg bei Lunz (NHMW collection), which is in a Julian marine horizon in the Reingrabener Schiefer Formation of Austria
- Platychela kahleri: Its type locality is Raibl, Carinthia (NHMW collection), which is in a Julian basinal (carbonate) limestone in Italy.
Ecology: infaunal carnivore

• Triassic of Austria (2 collections), Italy (1)
