Type specimen: MNEMG 2002.3, a hindwing. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB55a, Soft Cockle Beds, Swanage, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Durlston Bay, Bed DB55a, Soft Cockle Beds, Swanage
