Type specimen: BMB 018530, a forewing. Its type locality is Old pit, Clockhouse Brickworks, which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal sandstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Old pit, Clockhouse Brickworks
