Sister taxa: Sinobaatar fuxinensis, Sinobaatar lingyuanensis
Type specimen: IVPP V14491, a partial skull (Partial skull including maxillae with right (P1-M2) and left (P1-P5 and M2) dentitions, fragment of left premaxilla with I2 and I3, damaged right basicranial re). Its type locality is Fuxin city area, which is in an Aptian/Albian alluvial fan coal in the Fuxin Formation of China.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Fuxin city area
