Type specimen: GSI/SR/PAL-B215, a tooth (a nearly complete right upper molariform). Its type locality is Infratrappean beds near Bacharam, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Infratrappean Beds Formation of India.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Infratrappean beds near Bacharam
