Type specimen: NHML In.17411, a forewing (greater part of forewing). Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (A'Court Smith collection), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Bembridge Marls (A'Court Smith collection)
