Type specimen: NHML In.25766, an exoskeleton (decapitated body and remains of right wing pair). Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
