Sister taxon: Abanaxipha incongrua

Type specimen: LEM 10950, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Lyman Museum collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of the Dominican Republic (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
