Type specimen: NMS 1984.42.15a-c, a skeleton. Its type locality is Bearsden locality, which is in a Pendleian marine shale in the Manse Burn Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: nektonic piscivore-microcarnivore
Distribution: found only at Bearsden locality
