Type specimen: MAB k.2452, a carapace. Its type locality is Quarry southeast of Gosheim, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone in the Wohlgeschichtete Kalke Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Quarry southeast of Gosheim
