Sister taxa: Borinquena caeciliana, Borinquena parva, Borinquena schawallfussi

Type specimen: SMNS DO-3904-M, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (SMNS coll)
