Sister taxon: Lagria formosensis
Type specimen: SSG-KOTAC11946, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Southwest of Hoshio Pass, which is in a Piacenzian crater lake mudstone in the Motojuku Formation of Japan.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Southwest of Hoshio Pass
