Type specimen: MPB 4011, a carapace. Its type locality is South of San Carlos de Bariloche, which is in a Miocene marine shale in the Río Foyel Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at South of San Carlos de Bariloche
