Type specimen: USN 324259, a claw. Its type locality is USGS 6020a, Canal Zone, which is in an Aquitanian marine shale/mudstone in the Culebra Formation of Panama.
Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at USGS 6020a, Canal Zone
