Type specimen: AMF-KG-82. Its type locality is Ichihashi Quarry, Kinshozan, Akasaka, which is in a Capitanian shallow subtidal packstone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.

Distribution: found only at Ichihashi Quarry, Kinshozan, Akasaka
