Type specimen: NMBE D1854. Its type locality is Hohburggraben section, Belpberg, which is in a Burdigalian delta front sandstone/marl in the Upper Marine Molasse Formation of Switzerland.

Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Hohburggraben section, Belpberg
