Type specimen: Bergaschule Saarbrücken 7d Aa 33, a tegmen. Its type locality is Spoil heap from construction of flotz 2, Steinbach valley, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in the Flöz Zweibänke Formation of Germany.
