Sister taxon: Palmerocrinus kesslerensis
Type specimen: OU 3913 (dorsal cup). Its type locality is Canyon Creek (Loc. 12), which is in a Morrowan marine limestone/sandstone in the Bloyd Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Carboniferous of United States (3: Oklahoma, Utah collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
