Sister taxa: Reviya curukensis, Reviya subsompongensis, Reviya sylvieae
Type specimen: UPMC P6M2742, a carapace. Its type locality is Bálvany North 08BAN47, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate wackestone in the Nagyvisnyo Formation of Hungary.
Ecology: epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of Hungary (5 collections), Iran (1), Serbia and Montenegro (1)
Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
