Sister taxa: Phasmomimella araripensis, Phasmomimella paskapoensis
Type specimen: PIN 1668/1014, a forewing. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1668, layer 15), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
