Type specimen: Milan Univ I 1322 a, a shell (Articulated shell). Its type locality is Lower Elikah Valley, Central Elburz Mountains, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian marine limestone/shale in the Nesen Formation of Iran.
