Type specimen: GSI 16874, a valve (ventral valve). Its type locality is Banschang, topmost gray sandy marl bed, E of Chhidru, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate marl in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.

Distribution: found only at Banschang, topmost gray sandy marl bed, E of Chhidru, Salt Range
