Sister taxa: Rhizophtoma longus, Rhizophtoma synchrotronica
Type specimen: MNHN Azar 845D, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection)
