Sister taxon: Faksecarcinus koskobiloensis
Type specimen: MGUH 24367. Its type locality is Fakse limestone quarry (Jakobsen collection), which is in a Danian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Denmark.
Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore
Distribution: there are no occurrences of Faksecarcinus gracilis in the database
