Type specimen: MNZ S41007, a limb element (left distal humerus). Its type locality is Home Hills Station, Site 2c (HH2c), which is in an Altonian lacustrine - large sandstone in the Bannockburn Formation of New Zealand.

Distribution: found only at Home Hills Station, Site 2c (HH2c)
