Sister taxon: Shenmuichnus wangi
Type specimen: Trackway C, Shemnu Museum, a footprint. Its type locality is Qiujinggou tracksite, Shenmu (Fuxian), which is in a Jurassic terrestrial sandstone in the Fuxian Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Qiujinggou tracksite, Shenmu (Fuxian)
