Sister taxa: Primorilestes magnificus, Primorilestes violetae

Type specimen: MM 14M-A2786, a wing. Its type locality is Fur Formation (Moler Museum collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore diatomite in the Fur Formation of Denmark.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Fur Formation (Moler Museum collection)
