Type specimen: Henan Geological Museum 41HIII0419, a partial skeleton (complete skull with lower jaws and anterior three cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Xiaosanjiazi Village, Lamadong, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Yixian Formation of China.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Xiaosanjiazi Village, Lamadong
