Type specimen: USNM 307186. Its type locality is Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C., Maude Formation (Locality 534), which is in a Pliensbachian marine lime mudstone in the Maude Formation of Canada.

Ecology: passively mobile planktonic omnivore

Distribution:

• Jurassic of Canada (24: British Columbia collections), Japan (2), Oman (1)
