Type specimen: ETH SN.202, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Oeningen (Zurich collection), which is in a Sarmatian crater lake limestone in the Upper Freshwater-Molasse Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Oeningen (Zurich collection)
