Type specimen: Coll Karlsruh Inv. 1265, a wing (vague thorax fragments, abdomen added with paint). Its type locality is Oeningen (Carlsruhe collection), which is in a Sarmatian crater lake limestone in the Upper Freshwater-Molasse Formation of Germany.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Oeningen (Carlsruhe collection)
