Type specimen: UMNH VP 20211, a partial skeleton (cervical, dorsal, and caudal vertebrae; and the proximal end of a left pubis). Its type locality is Doelling's Bowl Bonebed (UMNH VP Loc. 1208), which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian terrestrial chert in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Doelling's Bowl Bonebed (UMNH VP Loc. 1208)
