Type specimens:
- Sinochelys applanata: Its type locality is Ningchiakou, Mengyin, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Mengyin Formation of China
- Heishanemys imperfectus: Its type locality is Chia-yü-kuan (SSE), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian lacustrine claystone in the Minhe Formation of China.
- Peishanemys latipons: Its type locality is Ehr-chi-wu-t'ung, Pei-shan (SSE), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial conglomerate/sandstone in the Minhe Formation of China.
- Scutemys tecta:
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of China (3 collections)
