Type specimen: MNHN-LP-R. 55172, a wing (Includes forewing, hindwing, and thoracic fragment). Its type locality is Menat (Oudard collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Menat (Oudard collection)
